My wife and I have been married for about 5 months and have been together for over 2 years. At the holidays we always go home to visit our families. They are always rude but in a way that if I were to point it out i would seem like the rude or crazy one. My wife always sticks up for me but they always find a way to show everyone they are "being nice". So she always get frustrated but they still treat her great. Her brothers are kind of nice but still not great. Her aunts and uncles, grandparents, and cousins have been in a way trained to not like me through her parents. This has cause her to argue with her parents over this many times and it makes me feel bad. I just want to put a stop to it all.
