How do you handle a guy friend who discuss things I do not want to know and ask of him..

...once not to talk.? I am a girl sixteen raised from the country and do not know nothing about city guys. I mean who runs the streets hang out in the street sand doing every other thing besides looking for a bright future. That is going to college getting a degree and planning what he wanna do later in life. Instead he choose to talk about our guy friend and say things that i asked of him to discuss like, mentioning of girls name, it hurts inside not only it hurts but the guy he talks about is my ex boyfriend; talking about his personal life with girls, i think if they are brothers or that close why would he be putting his Business on blast like this? i know i have a strong relationship with my ex and is not sure if i should spend time with my ex best friend because what me and my ex talk about sounds similar to the friend conversation but different. Me and my ex has a good relationship and he asked me back the time i was not ready and wanting to know shall i waste time with the friend who talk similiar. I have already asked of the friend to stop mentioning the girls he involvewith but not only do i know this, me and my ex discuss alot more on the same topic. Who should i consider my time with. I mean i asked of him respectfully to not talk about it and he keeps disrespect my want by still bringing the girl that exist name but bringing up the situations he know of at some time.
