How do you get the unlock code for BlackBerry Curve?

I have a blackberry curve 8310 planning to unlock it myself, I know how to do it but I need to MEP code to complete the process. I want to be able to do this for free, I know calling AT&T is one option but I was wondering if there is another way. Please don't send me link to a website that only makes me pay. Thanks
