How do you get the radiator spigot to open on a 95 Mazda B2300? It looks

like a 2 handled twisting valve? It's at the bottom of the radiator. The only thing I've been able to use to move it is a pair of pliers, but since it's made of plastic, it's chewing it up pretty badly. Which way do I twist this valve? Clockwise, or counter clockwise and how far does it twist? The drain is actually quite small. About the size of a pea. I doubt any sediment will come out. The radiator hasn't ever been flushed I don't believe in 10 or so years. Should I flush the system leaving the radiator drain valve shut?
