i have a 97 ford explorer and the cd player is located in the middle consul and there is a eject button but it is not working any suggestions ???

I dont know where you live but in my neighborhood i have a local stereo installer that knows how to remove the unit & disassemble it to remove the CD's without damaging it. They can also tell you why it happened in the first place. Try your local yellow pages for a custom stereo dealer & installer. This usually does not cost alot( around $50.00). At least here it does.
