You really just have to start looking at it with the right perspective. Once you realize it's a little more than just boring maths, homework and tests...you might find that physics is actually fun.
It's very hard to be any good at something you don't understand or like. Just have to take a little time to reflect on everything that the subject brings. Most of it is a little geeky, but it's nothing dumb.
