How do you get oil across ocean to other cities on Civilization 4?

I have a city on one continent and on that continent their is oil. On my other continent there is no oil and i want to get it to the one that has no oil. But the 2 continents are separated by a really huge ocean. So this is for Civilization 4: Beyond the Sword. I guess it doesnt matter if you tell how to do it in Civilization 4 or Warlords cause their just expansions

bulid a port/harbor or an airport or change ur routes

Just build a harbor in any city that you want t have oil and it will get that city oil as well as the city nearest the oil.

Just swich ur oil route (i think)
