How do you get HTML off a website and put it on your own?

Say you like the layout of a website, how would you take the HTML off that website and put it as your own with adaptations?

Okay lets say you are using Internet Explorer then its really easy. Go to View --> Source and notepad will open for you with all the code from that page, more or less. But I honestly suggest you use Google Chrome and right click --> View page source and this will show you a massive detail layout. Very cool, enjoy
