...parents when your under 21? I'm a 19 year old graduate of 2009 I am trying to go to school. But I cant draw financial aid because my parents will not give me their w2 forms or help me with school in any shape ,form, or fashion somebody please have some good advice for me because every school I try to enroll in tell me me sense I am 19 I am not consider a independent student it seems like i just have the wrong parents and is just simply out of luck.

Youre right, you are still a dependent according to schools. I dealt with this situation a lot (believe it or not, a lot of students have this problem) because I worked in the financial aid office. YOu can fill out a form that the financial aid office has, its called something like "Dependency override form" to try and prove that you are independent, but rarely does it get approved.

Just state to your parents that giving you the W2 will not make them pay for your college in any way, shape, or form. It just provides the government with a starting point to see how much money they could give you in grants.
