how do you get applications for the samsung instinct if it's already flashed...

...to metro pcs? i bought a samsung instinct and i noticed my internet was not working, so i got it flashed, and im trying to get the messenger app so i can instant message(aim,yahoo,msn) so how do i get the app for free when its already flashed to metro pcs? please help and thank you
