How do you get a young, slightly spooky horse used to dogs/cars/kids....etc??? ?

I have a young 3.5yr old purebred Arabian that I will get back from the Trainer in late January. He will be trained to ride with only 120 days of Professional Training. Of course, they don't train the horse to get used to barking dogs or cars that pass you too fast on the road. Ideas?

I live on a Main Road and I have to walk to the trails nearby. I don't have a trailer...the trails are only 4 blocks away. He's NOT spooky when I ride him, but he is noise sensitive. Thank you for your ideas.
