how do you fix the ring of fire for the Xbox 360?

it didn't overheat because i was only playing it for 30 minutes. it just froze out of nowhere. i can't take it any where because i don't have a warranty for it. you can't even see the xbox dashboard. it just turns red every time i turn it on.
