I am doing a project for chemistry, and I'm trying to find the percent composition in each element in the drug Oxycontin. I don't understand what I'm supposed to do with the HCl part of the equation. In fact, I don't understand what to do with the entire equation. The formula is C18H21NO4?HCl. Please show work so I can understand how to get the answer. Thank you.
