Do you feel flattered and excited, even if you do not feel the same? Or do you feel uncomfortable, awkward and turned off? Or indifferent? Or ...?

Anyway, I'm flattered but I would treat it as I would treat anyone who had the guts to walk up to me and talk to me. I'd introduce myself back and carry on the conversation. Women are usually quite indirect with their words and direct in their body language whether it's subconscious or not. When it's appropriate I will tell her that I'm flattered but not interested in a romantic date but would love to continue a friendship. I'm not going to hold my hand to her and go 'oh no sweetheart I'm gay' that's not how I was raised.
