How do you feel about the army recalling disabled veterans from IRR?

I had a friend with 2 prosthetic limbs not able to stand most of the time. The Army tried to recall him and even had him report. They accused of malingering even though 4 VA doctors said he could not stand much. The Army tried to the VA pull back his rating and they only backed off after his wife wrote the White House.
