How do you feel about Straight people discussing in the LGBT section of Y!A?

I always feel weird and like my opinion isn't valid or welcomed here. I'm not leaving hate messages or anything but i'll get like a ton of thumbs down and i'm wondering if it's cuz most of you would prefer straight people to not comment. I just need to know how you all feel.
 
No, I think it's a good thing. It adds variety. I like it when straight people show their support, and I'm even ok with straight people saying that they don't support gay people - their opinions make e angry, but it's important to be exposed to different points of view. The only people whose comments I don't want to see are the ones who are abusive, bigoted or those whose opinions aren't well thought out and backed up. They are a waste of time.
