How do you feel about a law that forbids infant male genital mutilation?

To protect young boys from penis butchers!

Reasons for the law to ban this kind of modern day barbarism:

1. It infringes a child's rights because it's done without his consent!

2. It's also a form of torture because it's done without anesthesia!

3. It causes potentially permanent psychological and physical damage!
(The foreskin has more nerve endings than the clitoris)

4. And no, religion is not a reason because it's the enemy of reason!

If you're still saying no then perhaps this will change your mind!

::shakes head:: no...it is a choice. we did it because it is healthier in the end...we won't have to worry about him not taking care of himself properly and needing one later on (when it will hurt more, and he'll remember the pain.)
 
It's like one of those mid-evil practices that's still around today. I feel sorry for baby's that have to go through this torture.

WTF! ah OK i know now, well its up to the individual some people do it for religious reasons and others medical.

I have no problems with It at all
 
If you're talking about circumcision then my boyfriend/baby's father got it done when he was first born and he is really glad that he got it it done because it's easier to keep clean and is safer to keep out bacteria.
