I'm trying to figure out how to establish business credit so I don't have to use my personal credit score for business purposes, but I don't want to pay a company a tremendous amount of money to assist me in doing so. I'm not sure how true this is, but from what I hear, you have to pay for for the business credit burueas to keep track of your business score anyway.
Can anybody tell me how to go about doing this without spending more money than is needed, and about how long will it take to achieve a reasonable score that will be taken seriously with banks, suppliers, leasing agents, etc?
When answering, please provide a certain amount of detail. I know that Dunn & Bradstreet are one of the largest companies to handle business credit scores, but I don't know the process and what it will take to to make this happen. Thank you.
