how do you delete your history when using the maps application on an iphone? see...

...details? so i have an iphone and i typed in a few addresses to test out the mapping feature and now if i type in like the first number of one of the addresses it pops up and i do not know how to make those go away. help??
and i tried going to settings...there's nothing that says anything about the maps application. is there a way to clear all phone history?
