I want to convert my VHS home movies to DVDs and every site I've searched says you can hook up your VHS VCR with a stand-alone DVD recorder and convert your VHS home movies in real time. So, seeing as I really want to convert my VHS home movies, I'm willing to buy a stand-alone DVD recorder if they're not too expensive (if you could include the price of a stand-alone DVD recorder it would be great) but I want to know how to connect my VHS VCR with the stand-alone DVD recorder before I purchase it so I know what I'm doing and I don't waste my money.
