I need to know how to cite in parenthetical documentation information that came from the same author (the same book) but was on different pages? The information from the different pages are one after the other in my paper, so it seems like i would only document it once instead of separately for each page. right? I really need help!!! Thanks.

I hope I am reading your question right, but in parenthetical it would be like this: (NAME, page number). So if I cited John Doe for multiple pagesit could go something like (Doe 9) and later (Doe 15) etc. On the works cited page you would only need to list the pages from lowest, a dash and then last age you used. In the above example, 9-15. I hope this is what you were looking for!
