generally if you dont know you should bring it to the dealer it should not cost you more than 80 dollars to change and being a 2000 model it prolly is about time to change the fluid. but if you are relly up to it read up on it and di it your self by removing the drain plug and let it all drain out and then just plug the hole back up and open the filler plug and fill new manual transmission fluid back in there. the fill plug is not the best location to fill it at thats why it is recommended to bring it to the dealer plus they also have the correct fluid, you can not jut fill it up with any kind of fluid get the recommended fluid from Acura/ Honda. If you or they do it correct you will not have to touch it for another 50000-75000 miles

Drain and refill, you will need a service manual and the proper crush washers, Honda Manual transmission fluid, and a funnel with a hose to refill. See the dealer for the MTF and crush washers, Helm.com for the service manual, and an auto parts or hardware store for the funnel with the hose end.
If its only a one shot deal it sould be cheaper to just take it into a shop but they use or you provide the Honda MTF and yes it's that good.
