my trailblazer is making alot of noise i took it to a mechanic and he said my water pump is wore out and he said if i dont get it fixed fast i will blow my motor so me and my dad tried to get it out and we couldnt anyone have any suggestions?

First thing's first drain the coolant, then remove the fan shroud- and remember to disconnect the connector for the fan clutch, remove the fan- be very careful not to hit the radiator with the clutch because it will put a hole in it very quickly! you need a holding tool to hold the water pump pulley still while you remove the nuts from the water pump pulley- then take the pulley off, then the water pump, i think there are 5 bolts holding it in, then reverse the procedure to reinstall it all! good luck!

The Special tools involve require you to either buy them, rent them or make an appointment with your local wrench and get it done by a pro.
Heather was exactly correct.
