how do you change the plugs on a 2001 pontiac montana?

i have a 2001 pontiac montana. Its running sluggish and i figured it was time for a plugs and wire change. No prob getting to the front 3 plugs or changing any wires, but the other 3 are in no mans land under the coil packs and everything else. I'm assuming i go in over the top, but do i remove the coil packs, or the plate they sit on? is there anything i need to worry about or to steer clear of?
 
You have to take the top motor mounts off and tip the engine towards you to get to the plugs.
