I have a 97 Honda Accord. It's a 4 cylinder and it's a manual transmission. I know on some cars you have to remove some things like the exhaust and/or the catalytic converter to get to the oil pan bolts to change the gasket but I'm not sure if that is necessary on my Honda (I'm hoping it's not). So, does anyone know for sure if I will have to remove parts to access my oil pan bolts or if it's a straight shoot? Also, I thought just having a gasket was enough but someone told me I would also need sealer. Is this true or am I okay with just a gasket? Thanks for any help you can give (even if it's a link to good explanation)!
