How do you bypass papsslock 2 on a 2002 chevrolet cavalier?

I was wondering if anyone knew how to bypass a passlock2 system on a 2002 cevrolet cavalier, without having to buy a module? I heard something about splicing some wires together. Is this true? Or is there anyone who could tell me how to fix it correctly? Any info is good info, thanks all.
