This is a dumb question.
But I can't help but feel like I'm not brushing my teeth properly or something. When I do it, toothpaste gets all over my face, and my teeth don't look white at all.
So, it seems hard since it's so natural, but could you guys describe how you brush your teeth?
This is how I do it currently:
I hold my toothbrush by making a fist around the handle. I get some toothpaste on the head (how much?). I dip it in water, and then I hold the toothbrush horizontally (parallel to the ground) and rub the head back and forth across my teeth. I do this for all sides of my teeth.
I've never had any tooth problems (no cavities, ever! no braces!), and I have a hard time figuring out where I could be going wrong...but am I somehow doing this wrong?
