like if i were to get a job, my parents work during the day and my school gets out at 3:15, by the time i get home its 3:30. and then i have to wait for the bus to take me to the mall and i have to transfer so it takes until about 5:05 to get to the mall. and then i would have to stay until like 8 or 9 and then the bus schedule changes and i have no ride home. and by the time i can get home, if i can get a ride from somebody i know, it would be like almost 10 and i would have to stay up all night to do my homework. so i dont get it, how do people manage getting a job during school and doing sports and stuff at the same time. is it possible to get employers who will work out flexible schedules during the school year like for weekends so that i wont have to work on weekdays do to my hard to manage time. i mean employers have to be understanding of school right. i mean they woudln' t hire a teenagers and expect them to be able to come in anytime.the reason i ask is because i plan on getting a job next year but i wont be able to afford a car or drive so like how would i work it out? or is it possible to work out a deal where you work on like Fridays Saturdays and Sundays (day when im available all day long) and during school vacation like the summer, or would i be able to work out a way to work during the summer and then go back the next summer. or would it look bad quitting and then trying to re apply. please just share your experience and explain how it worked out.
