in my boyfriends name? My bf and I want to do this buy one Hyudai and get an Accent for $1. So we are going to trade both our cars in towards 2 new ones. However, I have a loan through a credit union and it is in my name. My boyfriend is going to buy the cars for us, and they will be in his name since right now I am unemployed and am a stay at home mom, not to mention my credit blows. Is it possible to trade my car in towards the new ones even though the new car will be in his name. Also, If I trade it in the remainder of my loan will be paid off and added to his new loan right? How does that work? I'm new at this loan stuff I've only had cars I paid cash for. Will the new cars have to be in my name too? Or will I have to get my car now and my loan be put in his name too? What can I do? Sorry if this is confusing, I am not even sure if I am asking the right questions. Please help me thank you in advance for your time.
