My husband is in the military and we married a little over a month ago so to avoid complications with shipping the car from georgia to alaska we would like to just put everything in his name.
Situation: The car is being financed through a major bank. My mother is the buyer I am the co-buyer. How can I get my mothers name taken off and place my husbands name on it? Also is there a way for us to just have his name alone on the car.
Another option is to sell the car currently we could sell the car and pay off the remainder even if we settle for less we would owe a little over or less than $1000. Although we would not have a downpayment to buy another car until dcember of this year. or should we just sell it once i get there so we have a run around car until we have the money for another car.
if the car is in his name only could he just insure unisured drivers that way my bad driving record won't cause us to pay sooooo much more. Or if both of are names are on the car can he still do this?
