how do we know when we will win the war on terror?

in normal wars its straightforwards, you send the army into the enemies capital and make them surrender and give them conditions to this and that and tell them to behave like we did to Germany and Japan.

How will we measure success on the war on terror, simply put we can kill Thousand's of terrorists but more and more will keep coming and always locked in a never ending quest to hurt us.

So what solution can their be? im thinking complete genocide but that would also be equally terrible. it seems that we are at another crusade again but this time some of the enemy is already in our lands.

any ideas on how this war could be win????

Just stop bombing them.
Get our military off their land.
Hand over the bases we built in iraq to the government there.
Stop arming israel and its enemies.

Nothing makes more terrorists than bombing civilians, accident or not. Humans react when loved ones are killed.

The only interaction we should have, is one of friendship & trade. Mutual benefits. No politics.
 
You can't win the "War on Terror" without killing all the terrorists in the world.

So you really can't win, its like trying to put fire out with gasoline.
