After God wrote the commandments onto stone... Moses came down the mountain to see all of his people worshipping a false idol and smashed the Ten Commandments and then ordered everyone to kill themselves (lol) then went onto tell the rest of the people what the commandments were... How are we sure they are what God actually wrote... since we couldn't see the actual written stuff since it was smashed... because of Adam and Eve all people are born into sin and this includes Moses... how do we know he wasn't lying and making up his own commandments?
