I am so angry, my Boyfriend has applied for 2 para and has been refused due to a mild case of Eczema he had last September. The forces wouldn't have known he he wasn't honest on the Medical Form at the 2 day fitness test. Which he is kicking himself for.
We went to the Doctors he said in the letter that he has no Eczema and is perfectly fit to join the Army.
We waited and waiting for the res ponce which we thought would be fine. He received the call 4 weeks later!!!! to say they have refused. He is devastated, he has been waiting now for 7 months and is desperate to join 2 para to follow his late dads footsteps.
I am going to call the Senior Officer later, but I don't know if I will be wasting my time. I could do with some advice what to do.
I have a friend that has been in the Army 6 years and has a whole in the heart and 2 cousins in the forces with Asthma and I am struggling to understand why they are not letting him in for something so mild!
Yet my Cousins and Friend had no problem to be honest im thinking it's all a joke and im ready for losing my Rag!!!
