How do those with mental illness believe in the Christian God?

Those who cannot read or comprehend speech, therefore are unable to believe in God. Are they going to Hell?

(You could argue that they probably do believe in a God, but that would Deism)
"Those who cannot read or comprehend speech" I was also referring to the Bible.
Sorry I'm horrible at wording things.
