How do people who don't believe the Holocaust happened explain the evidence?

the Holocaust was such a horrible thing and denying it doesn't make it go away. I don't understand how some people can believe it didn't even happen. How do they explain the evidence such as the twelve million killed (and their death records), concentration camps, and horrifying stories those lucky enough to survive tell?? Thanks for your input <3
