Whenever I try to write stories, I keep comparing them (and myself) to others' fanfictions, novels, or short stories (who've gotten published/good reviews). Although their stories don't be a "masterpiece", to me they are & kinda put mine to shame. Since I know all the surprises & how it's gonna end, I loose enthusiasm for my stories. I wish I could be like (again), "Oh boy, I can't wait to write the next chapter!"
