Comb all of your hair down... The front over your forehead, the back down towards your neck, and the sides down over your ears.
You then use a comb (Wide tooth) and comb the hair around your head... Think of a beehive. After you comb it around, go over it with a padded brush, then go over it with a boar bristle brush.
That should make it stay long enough for you to get your head wrap and tie your hair up.

I used to have problems getting my hair to stay so i would use large bobby pins to hold it in certain places just until I could get the wrap on my head. Try that too.
