I have a fairly new white Shabby Chic sofa in my room with a removable slipcover that has already gotten a small stain, and I'd like to wash it but I'm not sure how. What sort of detergent should I use? Can I use fabric softener to give it a nice scent or will that stain the fabric?
Would it be better to just take it to the dry cleaners or to a laundry service, or is this something I can do myself? It's fairly huge, especially if I wash all the pillow covers too.
