how do i use telus web rather than wifi on a blackberry?

i just got a black berry pearl today and when i go on the web browser it want to hook me up with a wifi network (which doesn't work) but i would just like to use telus web, which would mean i'd be usuing the data i'm paying for. please help, this phone is pissing me off alredy.
