How do I use Speech to Text on Motorola Droid?

I downloaded the Handcent app, and I won't pay for any apps. When I go into handcent, I long hold in the typing area and it gives me "input method, and insert quick text" If I go to input method, the only option is Android Keyboard.

How do I get this to work?
