When conducting a list of short publications such as listing numerous articles of a magazine how should I properly use quotations?
Must I use beginning and end quotes for each article, such as-
Ex. 1:
The articles, "Killer Shorts," "Tight Tops," "Eight Ways to Pay," "Hairy Scary," "Worst Day, Best Pedicure," and "Top 10 Hit List" feature professional yet affordable....
OR can I do something like this- (considering proper use of punctuation)
Ex 2:
The articles, "Killer Shorts, "Tight Tops, "Eight Ways..., "Hairy Scary, "Worst Day..., and "Top 10 Hit List" feature...
Using only the end quotation once?
The first example seems overdone and ends up looking tacky. Even Yahoo Answers tells me, "Whoa! You used a lot of punctuation." Ha-ha. Thanks!
