How do I use photoshop to put two of myself in one photo?

I wan to have a picture of me sitting on a couch next to (another) me wearing different clothes Is there a way so that i can have multiple mes in different parts of the pic posing dif ways? I hav a tripod so taking multiple pix with nothing changing but me is fine. Do u understand what I wanna do?

Ex: Im sitting on a chair in pajamas while there is another me in a tux standing behind this sitting me.
