How do i use my Olympus utough to work as movie player as i save movies on it n use vid

cable to watch on tv? so like every digital camera, my camera came with a video cable were i could view pictures or recorded videos, is there a way were i can transfer a video off my computer and put it on to my digital camera and watch it on my tv, ive tried putting the movie file onto my memory card, but it doesnt show up as a file on the camera, it does show up as a file on the memory card tho any help?

i tried putting in mpeg format , after converting but still it doesnt show up on my camera !
