how do i use my laptop as a monitore for my tmobile htc G2 phone?

I have a t mobile htc G2 phone I play games and surf the net on it, but im tired of looking in a small screen. I want to find out how i can basically use my hp labtop as a monitor so that what ever i have on my phone can appear on my latptop. When i play games on my phone , i just want them to be in a bigger screen.
