I have a Philips 40PFL3705D/F7 that needs a firmware update to fix gaming lag issues. I followed the instructions from Philips which are summarized here: Use blank USB drive formatted in FAT/DOS and add the update file to the USB root directory (confused here because on my mac once formatted there seems to be no "directory" the drive is blank when I open it). Unplug TV, insert usb drive, plug TV back in and the update software should boot up. My problem is that once I turn the TV on it does not sense the USB drive at all (no software boot up). Any suggestions?
