Lately, my PS3 has been giving me all sorts of problems like error messages and freezing up. I contacted Sony's customer service hotline, and from what the person on the line could figure, I had to either update my system or possible send it in for repairs (most likely wiping all game saves as well).
Not having the proper internet connection to hook up the PS3 online, I decided to save the update to a USB flash drive, and upload it into the system that way.
Now, the system doesn't even recognize the flash drive. Did I buy an incompatible one (the brand is a PNY Attache, which according to someone else's answered question, is compatible), or is my whole system completely done for?
Also, would anyone know why certain game saves don't allow copying? I wanted to at least save my data from Guitar Hero World Tour, but upon trying the Copy option, it gives me a message along the lines of "doesn't allow copying".
