How do I unlock my phone? It's asking for a PUK code.?

I have an LG Arena and I was messing around on the phone settings trying to put a lock on my phone, but something happened and now it won't let me do anything without a PUK code. I called the AT&T service number (1 800 331 0500) and when I gave it my number, it just directed me to the Go Phone thing where I can add money and stuff. I don't even know how I did it and it's really making me angry. Please help!
