How do I unlock my Nokia E63 from virgin Mobile?

I recently bought a nokia E63 and it is locked into virgin mobile... How do I unlock it? I can't really afford $80 at the moment so please don't say "buy the code." Is there a way I can do it for free? I want to put it on Optus. Thanks for any help.

First option is to contact your carrier. If they fails try this out because unlocking your cell phone has become very cheaper now a days, perhaps you should go for those which really benefits you.
