How do I unlock a 2G Iphone with Tmobile on version 4.2.1?

i got an iphone (1st generation i think) and i updated it to the lastest version (4.2.1) its locked with att&t service. i have a t-mobile sim card now. but how can i unlock this? if you know how to unlock this and jailbreak ( i dont need jailbreaking that bad) that would be very helpful. thanks
