I'm 38 weeks pregnant with my third and very tired, so the last person that I want to see is my MIL. She has decided to come and stay at our home for the next week or until I give birth. I know that this would sound nice to some but she and I have never gotten along and always clash. We live in the same town and only about ten minutes away, so it is not like she is traveling very far. I have already told her that I would like no help bc my mom offered and I have declined her offer. The trick is that she now went and pulled a fast one and just told my husband that she was going to stay and didn't ask for my opinion. This bothers me so much but I don't need something to fight about with my husband. Also, I know that if I just suck it up and let her stay she and I will get into it. We don't cook, clean or think even a little bit the same. I don't know why she insists on doing things like this, when she had a very big problem with her son-in-law when her grandson was born. She is pushy and on top of it all she has OCD and I don't feel in the mood to deal with her and all her baggage. How do I tell my husband to univite her? His excuse is who will watch our girls if I go into labor in the middle of the night, bc she refuses to drive at night. I have friends that are willing to be here at any time, but he doesn't want to hurt her feelings by having someone else watch the girls. FYI, we see her once every two weeks anyways. Someone please tell me how to fix this, like now, please!
